About Me

I am a Louisiana based children's book author published by Pelican Publishing. My books include:

When I first started writing children's books a critic told me, "Write what you know."  Obviously, I didn't listen. I decided to keep on writing what I love. That's where the real magic happens.

Louisiana is a constant inspiration and a main character in all of my books. 

I know where I came from, I know where I want to go, and I know I am exactly where I need to be.

I am very active in the New Orleans community. I love to do author visits at schools, summer camps, events, festivals, you name it! 

I adore our local shops and am happy to schedule a signing or just pop in to sign books and say hello!
